My approach

The systemic approach has a specific interest in studying the individual within the network of their most significant relationships. In this sense, it focuses on analyzing problems related to lived experiences, the characteristics of the significant relational network of the people involved, their relationship rules, and the position occupied by individuals in the same network. During the process, we collaborate to broaden the field of observation, change perspective, and co-construct a new narrative of your story.

What I offer

Individual Icon

Individual sessions

The systemic approach allows addressing issues related to the individual, with the idea that they are also connected to the position they occupy in the system of significant relationships, both familial and social. The goal is to help the person modify this position, resulting in a decrease in the associated discomfort.

Couple Icon

Couple sessions

In couple sessions, we work with two individuals who embody the relationship. In a systemic perspective, the relational aspect, i.e., "how two people are together" and the paths they have chosen to be a couple, refers to the origin of the couple relationship, which has its roots in the extended families of both partners. This allows addressing crises and conflicts within a relational framework to build a new idea of being together.

Family Icon

Family sessions

The family can be described as a group of people engaged in organizing continuously transforming stories. These transformations can test the identity development of each individual. Meeting the family means co-constructing adaptive narratives that allow individuals to define themselves and others and attribute meaning to the events they experience.

LGBTQIA+ Issues

Couple The family, as well as the couple, is a social and cultural construct in constant evolution. The plurality of affective forms and constellations that individuals can create is diverse and complex. The systemic approach allows working with any gender and relational identity because it does not have a fixed idea of how the family or couple should be. Instead, it works to empower individuals to choose the most satisfying form and narrative for themselves. For this reason, I have been studying LGBTQIA+ issues for years and welcome individuals in polyamorous relationships or any other chosen form of family in my practice.
